Thank you for supporting Seva Spine. This Donation Policy explains how donations made through www.sevaspine.com are processed, used, and acknowledged.
Tax-Deductibility
Seva Spine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 83-2351464). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your contribution unless otherwise stated. Donors outside the United States should consult a tax advisor about deductibility in their country.
Receipts
You will receive an email confirmation and tax receipt after your donation is processed. Please keep it for your records. If you do not receive a receipt, or need a replacement or annual summary, please contact us.
How Donations Are Used
Donations support Seva Spine’s charitable mission, including charitable spine surgeries and procedures, humanitarian missions, post-operative care and rehabilitation, patient assistance, and community outreach in the United States and India. Seva Spine’s board directs how funds are used to best serve this mission. If you designate a donation for a specific program, we will make every effort to honor your request; if that program is fully funded or no longer operating, we will use your gift where it is most needed.
Recurring Donations
If you set up a recurring donation, you will be charged the amount you selected on the same schedule until you cancel. You may change or cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting us. Changes take effect before the next scheduled charge when received at least five business days in advance.
Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you made an error in your donation (for example, an incorrect amount or a duplicate charge), please contact us within 30 days and we will work with you to correct it. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. If a refund is issued, any tax receipt for that donation becomes void.
Payment Security
Online donations are processed by a secure third-party payment processor. Seva Spine does not store your full credit card or bank account numbers.
Donor Privacy
We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information with other organizations. We will not publicly list your name as a donor without your permission, and you may request to give anonymously. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
